Nothing needs to get done

We live in a world bombarded with “doing-ness”. This ends up putting us in a spinning wheel, with no end to the running.

Everywhere you look in the world, there’s something happening, asking for our attention, our actions, our opinions, thoughts, something we need to do to fix ourselves, something to change, remove, push away.

In a healthy lifestyle we also need some downtime, where we don’t make an effort, focus our attention.

The ultimate downtime is when you’re just enjoying the “beingness” and let go of all “doingness”.

So I invite you to experience this, with no effort, following along these lines.

Could you welcome up all that effort that you’ve been doing. Welcome up that feeling of effort-ing. Welcome up all those “I should” that you’re saying to yourself. And could you let go of effort-ing in this moment? And could you let go of “should-ing” on yourself in this moment?

And do that for a few minutes… until all you feel is peace, quiet, stillness.

And could you allow yourself in this moment to just be? And be some more… And just be, as you are.

Allow that peace and quiet to take as much space as it does. Just sit in quiet.

~There’s nowhere to go

Nothing needs to get done

No-one to become

Nothing to change~

What great pleasure in just being, nothing is happening here, worrying about nothing, nothing to desire, just being filled with peace and love…
